Location

Jasper’s Village Resort is located at the base of Cottan-Bimbang National Park mountains, 58km inland from Wauchope, 79km inland from Port Macquarie, and 107km east of Walcha. We’re approximately five and a half hours drive north of Sydney and eight and a half hours drive south of Brisbane.

Driving

From Sydney the fastest and easiest way is to head north along the Pacific Highway. Just past the little town of Kew you’ll come to a left hand turn – Bago Rd (the sign post will point you toward Timbertown). Drive along here until you get to High Street in Wauchope (which you’ll know by the roundabout), then turn left. High Street is also the Oxley Highway, and from here you will drive approximately 60km until you get to Mt Seaview Rd (signposted along the way under the old name of Jasper’s Peak Holiday Retreat).

From Brisbane the fastest and easiest way is to head south along the Pacific Highway. When you get to the second Port Macquarie exit (a huge roundabout above the highway with a service station exit), turn right toward Wauchope. This is the Oxley Highway, and from here you will drive approximately 70km until you get to Mt Seaview Rd (signposted along the way under the old name of Jasper’s Peak Holiday Retreat).

From Walcha it’s just straight along the Oxley Highway toward Port Macquarie, and make sure you’ve got your sea legs as it’s one crazy, winding road through the National Park.

Flying

Qantas and Virgin have flights into and out of Port Macquarie daily. We are easily able to arrange for someone to collect and deliver you to the airport if you do not wish to hire a vehicle. This takes about 45 minutes from Sydney.

Training

Cityrail offer three trains daily both from and to Wauchope Train Station. We are easily able to arrange for someone to collect and deliver you to the train station. There are no car hire services near Wauchope Train Station. The train trip takes about six and a half hours from Sydney.

Bussing

Greyhound offer a service from Sydney Central Station to Port Macquarie bus depot daily, departing at 7am. We are easily able to arrange for someone to collect and deliver you to the bus depot if you do not wish to hire a vehicle. The bus trip takes about seven and a half hours from Sydney.
